NANDINI GUPTA

Social video producer | On-camera host | Editorial leader

I’m an award-winning social video producer and correspondent currently working at the Associated Press, where I help lead editorial operations for the AP’s social video team. I host, produce, and edit videos for the AP’s Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms, covering major global events including the 2026 Winter Olympics and the Met Gala.

I received the Asian American Journalists Association’s “Excellence in Video Storytelling, Social” award for “One Thing to Know,” a series of U.S. presidential election-related social videos designed for digital audiences.

Before joining the AP, I worked as an international correspondent and producer for NDTV, one of India’s largest and oldest news organizations, where I covered breaking news and geopolitical stories. I also produced business and technology explainer videos for CNBC Africa and wrote for Forbes Africa.

My reporting career has taken me across the United States, Italy, India, and South Africa in search of stories.

In addition to reporting and videography, I guest lecture at universities and speak on panels about video journalism and social video strategy.

I’m also the author of two bestselling novels, “Daughter of the Night” and “Queen & King.”

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Dramatic Literature from New York University.
